Redland Baptist Church is an active campus. All churches have a main focus for their ministry. Ours is Missions. We teach to enable individuals to serve with confidence and to discover their own path into missions through service. We seek to serve God as he leads us following the example laid out in Scripture:
19 Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Matthew 28:19-20 HCSB
and
7 He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or periods that the Father has set by His own authority. 8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come on you, and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends[b] of the earth.”
Acts 1:7-9 HCSB

Each year we join with local churches to support Samaritan's Purse by supplying shoe boxes for children defined by age group and gender. We encourage families to build their own special box, but we also work collectively to provide as many shoeboxes as we can. Each year we increase our goal by a Tithe. In 2025 we sent over 1700 boxes. Our goal for 2026 is to pass 1850! We will begin having workdays on Miondays from 9-12 on the second floor of the Youth Building in the Fall. We take collections both financial and physical year round.
Most Thursdays a goup gathers in the Fellowship Hall to work on quilts to be distributed to Cancer Patients, Homebound, Chroniuucally Ill, the Bereaved and many others. This group ranges from beginners to expert seamstresses who are glad to teach others what they know.
Some bring their own equipment while others simply bring nimble fingers ready to work. Join us for a time of ministry and fellowship as we sew for The Lord.
Wednesday Nights that we have activities at the church, we have regular bus routes where our church vans go pick up children and bring them to the church. We take them home after as well. Each child must have written permission from their parent/guardian to participate. Two non-related adults are present oin the van to ensure discipline and safety. Contact Jon Tomberlin if you would like more information.
